Mentoring

My Approach

I am passionate about nurturing talent and helping aspiring music producers reach their full potential. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the ropes or an experienced producer aiming to refine your skills, I can create mentoring programs designed just for you.

Music production is both an art and a science. My Mentoring approach combines technical expertise with creativity, ensuring that you not only understand the tools but also unleash your unique musical voice.

Mentoring - as unique as you.

Tailored to you: No one-size-fits-all here! I will assess your current level, goals, and interests to create a customised learning path.
Hands-On Learning: Theory is essential, but practice makes perfect. Expect practical exercises and feedback sessions.
Mindset Mastery: Music production is as much about mindset as it is about technical skills. I can address self-doubt, creative blocks, motivations and disciplines.

Private 1-2-1 Sessions:

Dive deep into specific topics: workflow, sound design, synthesis, arrangement, mixing, and more.
Get personalized feedback on your work.
Schedule sessions at your convenience.

Why Choose Me?

I am a qualified trainer and a Member of the Institute of Leadership (MIoL). I serve as a Wales Union Learning Representative (ULR) for the Musicians Union / Cult Cymru. I am also a Regional Committee Member for Wales and the South West. I work closely with other ULR members of BECTU, Equity and The Writers Guild.

I am also involved with mentoring on the CULT Cymru Mentoring for Creatives (M4C) Program.

I have helped a diverse range of people from complete beginners, hobbyists, performers, students to those that work within education and have a record for delivering positive outcomes.

Discovery and progression is vital for for me and as such, Lifelong Learning has always been at the forefront of my working life.

My mission is to support and promote the continuous learning and development of fellow creatives, ensuring that they have access to the skills, knowledge, and training they need to advance and succeed in their careers.

Everyone has a right to ongoing learning, and I am committed to advocating for these opportunities. My aim is to help build a stronger, more skilled, and more empowered creative workforce that can meet the challenges of today’s economy, building a brighter future for all.

Being a creative isn't easy. I know from experience that it can be a lonely and isolating experience at times. Aside from that, it's easy for a creative to get stuck, going around in circles trying to find a way forward. Offer a plan to overcome your pain points.
Work with you to overcome obstacles.
Guide you through the often complex issues of life in the music industry.
Share skills, knowledge and insights to help you develop personally and professionally.
